We’re pleased to invite you to join us for a complimentary Virtual Group Ballet Class for Dance Teachers on Wednesday, January 28.
This intermediate/advanced ballet class is designed specifically for teachers, with the goal of supporting your own physical practice while reconnecting you to the joy and artistry of dancing for yourself. This is a welcoming, pressure-free class where you are encouraged to participate in whatever way feels best for you, with your camera on or off.
Led by Chelsea MacEwan, an experienced dance educator and physical theatre performer, the class will move through a structured ballet format including barre, centre, and travelling work. Throughout the class, Chelsea will focus on musicality, phrasing, and dynamic contrast, exploring how these elements enhance clarity and expression within classical technique. Participants can expect to leave feeling physically engaged, creatively inspired, and equipped with ideas that can be immediately applied in the studio to support students’ musical responsiveness and artistry.
This class is offered exclusively and complimentary to CDTA members, and is intended for teachers who love to teach and still value time to dance for themselves.
Date: Wednesday, January 28 @ 1 :00 ET
Format: Online
Level: Intermediate/Advanced
Cost: Complimentary for CDTA Members
